Walk-ins & refrigerated boxes

Walk-in cooler & freezer repair.

Your walk-in is more than a cooling unit. The refrigeration system, doors and insulated box all play a part in holding temperature. Tell us what is happening inside and outside the space.

Walk-in coolers & freezers
starts with the details.

Walk-in cooler service

If your cooler cannot maintain its usual temperature, note the reading, recent deliveries and changes in door traffic. These details help frame the service conversation.

Walk-in freezer service

Heavy ice, unusual cycling or a warming freezer may point to several possible issues. Do not force a frozen fan or use sharp tools to remove ice.

Doors, seals & box concerns

Air leaks, damaged seals and visible panel problems can undermine cooling. Ask about the specific box or door concern so the appropriate scope of work can be confirmed.

Good questions.

Can I ask about the walk-in box itself?

Yes. Describe the doors, seals or panels involved when you call. Repair options depend on the box and condition; replacement or construction work is not assumed.

Should I keep opening the door to check it?

Limit unnecessary door openings while following your food-safety procedures. Record available temperature readings without entering an unsafe space.

Before a walk-in service visit

Describe the whole storage space.

Identify whether this is a cooler or freezer and whether the issue affects the entire room or one section. Share existing temperature logs, alarm history and any recent change in delivery volume or door traffic. These details help distinguish load changes from an equipment fault.

Record where ice or condensation appears.

Ice at the doorway, frost around an evaporator and water near a drain are different observations, not interchangeable diagnoses. Take photos only from a safe position. Avoid slippery floors, exposed wiring and entering any space where you could become trapped.

Confirm refrigeration and box scope separately.

The condensing equipment, evaporator, controls, insulated panels and door hardware are separate parts of the installation. Describe which part needs attention when calling. Structural work, a replacement box or a new installation must not be assumed to be included in a repair request.
